A new CR product-certification implementation rule for complete humanoid robots establishes an evaluation framework covering safety performance, electromagnetic compatibility, reliability and intelligence, according to a report from Shanghai’s Putuo district.
The report says the Shanghai Robot Industrial Technology Research Institute (上海机器人产业技术研究院) has provided certification services to 307 companies and issued 646 certificates, including work for several major Chinese manufacturers. It does not break those totals out for humanoid-robot products.
