China had more than 400 humanoid-robot product models and produced over 40,000 units in the first half of 2026, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology said. The ministry expects full-year output to exceed 100,000 units.
It also said humanoid-robot and embodied-intelligence products are advancing through validation and deployment in more than 300 priority scenarios, including warehouse logistics, food retail and home services.
