ATOMROBOT has announced an updated flexible parallel-robot loading and unloading workstation for small precision parts. The company says it combines visual recognition, fast picking and tray placement, and has revised precision, software interaction, integration and customization.

According to ATOMROBOT, the standard version has placement accuracy of ±0.15 mm, while the FP flying-pick version reaches ±0.05 mm. Those are company-stated placement figures rather than independent test results.

The company lists an adjustable throughput range of 2,400–3,600 pieces per hour depending on the material and process. It says the integrated cell can run from AC 220 V power and supports sorting loose or irregular pieces, labeling, laser marking and dual-station operation.

ATOMROBOT says its AtomCV_1.2 graphical control software is designed to simplify task changes, and lists manipulator repeatability of ±0.01 mm. The AM-BL03, AM-BL05, AM-BL06 and AM-BL08 are offered in standard and FP versions for applications including electronics, batteries, pharmaceuticals and daily chemicals.
